Glenn Cunningham

Glenn Cunningham was a young little child when he had an accident in . his legs were all burned up. his brother Floyd died in the fire. the doctors said that if they had to cut his legs off but his parents didn't accept. the doctors also said that Cunningham had a chance of never walking normally again. it took 2 long years of therapy for Glenn to walk again. all this that happened to him in his childhood was the thing that motivated to become a professional runner.there was two main things that inspired Glenn his brother's death and his faith in god. Glenn Cunningham had many nicknames but mostly known by "Iron Horse of Kansas". Glenn Cunningham even has a park named after him. Glenn died in march 10, 1988 in the age of 78 years old.
