Duties and responsibilities:Radiation therapists treat cancer and other diseases in patients by administering radiation treatments.
- Explain treatment plans to the patient
- protect the patient and themselves from overexposure to radiation
- determine the exact location of the area requiring treatment
- Operate the machine to treat the patient with radiation
- check for unusual reactions to the treatment on the patient
Education:
- associate’s degree or a bachelor's degree
- must be licensed
- they must take programs that have to do a lot with: human anatomy and physiology, physics, algebra, computer science, and research methodology
Reflection: NO, i would not like to be a radiation therapist because it too much work....
