radiation therapist


Duties and responsibilities:Radiation therapists treat cancer and other diseases in patients by administering radiation treatments.
  • Explain treatment plans to the patient
  •  protect the patient and themselves from overexposure to radiation
  • determine the exact location of the area requiring treatment
  • Operate the machine to treat the patient with radiation
  • check for unusual reactions to the treatment on the patient
Salary:$77,560 per year

Education:
  • associate’s degree or a bachelor's degree
  •  must be licensed 
  • they must take programs that have to do a lot with: human anatomy and physiology, physics, algebra, computer science, and research methodology

Reflection: NO, i would not like to be a radiation therapist because it too much work....
